Implementasi Model Inquiry Learning dalam Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam Berbasis Kurikulum Merdeka pada Siswa Kelas IX di SMP IT Mutiara Ilmu Sokaraja

This study aiams to describe the Implementation of the Inquiry Learning Model in Learning Islamic Religious Education Based on the Merdeka Curriculum for Ninth Grade Students at SMP IT Mutiara Ilmu Soakaraja. This type of research is qualitative research, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis used by researchers is data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The result showed that the application of the Inquiry Learning model was Crried out though three main stages, namely planning, implementation, and evaluation. In the planning stage, teachers compile teaching modules, prepare teaching materials, tools, and learning media, determine learning models, and design learning evaluations in accordance with the Merdeka Curriculum. In the implementation stage, it consists of several stages, namely introductory activities, core activities which consist of the six main stages of Inquiry Learning: orientation, formulating problems, proposing hypotheses, collecting data, testing hypotheses, and drawing conclusions, finally closing activities. In the evaluation stage, teachers conduct formative and summative evaluations. This learning model has worked well and has had a positive impact. The learning process is more interactive, creative and fun, as students are directly involved in the searhc and discovery of knowledge. Students become more independent, their motivation to learn increases, and their critical thinking skills obstacles, such as limited learning time and demanding student activeness. However, these obctacles can be overcome with careful planning and support from the school.
